WEBINAR – Shared educational leadership and intercultural digital communication – Heather Applegarth
This presentation will examine how to improve shared educational leadership practices in a digital and intercultural context. The objective of this presentation is to provide workable strategies to improve shared leadership in this context. To achieve this, the presentation is divided into three elements which constitute an exchange of communication.
1. A discussion based on how a person’s identity can affect an exchange in a communication.
2. A discussion on the filters through which a message passes between the sender and the receiver through the prisms of different communication models: physical, social, physiological, semantic and distractions contexts.
3. Finally, based on the discussions regarding the preceding elements, I propose five recommendations for a shared educational management team operating in a digital and intercultural context.
